sorry to hear about your Dad. The “Schäffbräu Ingolstadt” has (almost) nothing to do with “Schäffbräu Treuchtlingen”; it was foundet in 1921 and lasted till 1978 (between 1970 and 1978 it was called “Schöffbräu” due to the above mentioned dispute with Treuchtlingen). Löwenbräu Grafenwöhr was closed also in 1978, but i couldn find out the connection between Löwen- and Schäffbräu… So your Bottle must be made between 1921 and 1970.

Hello! I am from the US. I have recently lost my Father but have acquired his bottle collection. I have found one in very good condition and have several questions about it. I would love to present my Uncle with the bottle and as much info as I can find on it for Christmas. It is green,and labeled Vollbier Hell..with a crest of some sort…also has LOWENBRAUEREI GRAFENWOHR. The bottle itself has raised lettering of SCHAFFBRAU INGOLSTADT. If there is anyone that can help me I would appreciate it.
